I am grateful for family, friends and a great job!

Fred and I decided to have a fire in our pit. We enjoy sitting out on the patio and doing nothing but pretending we are in the mountains... It is October and we have our flip flops on and a nice cozy fire going! What more can you ask for.. We have enjoyed our fire pit thanks to Riley and Amy. I have been working alot and thinking about how grateful I am to have such a wonderful job. It is nice to fly with friends and it's fun to meet new friends. there are alot of interesting people out there in this big world. Some are nice, some are ornery and some are fun to visit with. Texas is one of my favorite states to fly in and out of. You meet alot of nice people with a cute southern drawl. The East coast people are a different breed of people. They can be very sharp tongue, rude and to the point. West coast people is all about them. One ice cube or no ice at all in their drinks, plus they all want two at one time.. It is very funny to fly into so many different states and enjoy each one for something different. I am going to try to be better at carrying my camera with me and taking more pictures. I hope everyone has a wonderful season and can be more grateful for the little things that we enjoy each day. I know I am going to try and be alittle more grateful. I have a wonderful family and great friends and I enjoy each and everyone of them. Happy November and remember you are always welcomed at "NANAS"

Nana's day of tending!!

Well, Nana has been buzy tending my little darlings a couple of days this past month. Amber has been doing some subbing at the Brockbank. So when Nana comes down nothing gets done. We read books, play games and take pictures. I took some of Kaizlee and Brixton took some of me or should I say my feet. We laughed and laughed at his pictures.

Looking for a mechanic anyone?

I found two great mechanics at my house when we got home on Halloween night..Nicole and Natalie were on their way to fix a few parties! They both looked cute and had been planning their costumes for a couple of months...So if you are in need..Call : TWO CUTE MECHANICS at Girls just want to have fun!!!

Halloween 2009

I hope everyone had a HAPPY HALLOWEEN! I enjoyed seeing all the little spooks and goblins visit Grandma Beck's house. Since, I live away we go to Grandma's for homemade chili. It is really fun. Brixton was a monkey and Kaizlee was a pea in a pod...They were both darling if I say so myself. Abbey was a bee. She was so happy and she loves her Grandpa Ross.. Kayden showed up earlier and of course my camera needed new batteries. I didn't get his picture but did get to see him dressed up like a cowboy!! I miss the days of getting the kids all dressed up for Halloween and taking them out. I remember how they all loved it and would get so excited. Now days they do the trunk or treat which is a good idea. I think all the little spooks enjoy! Brixton was having fun waiting for all the visitors to ring the door bell.

I have been a slacker... It's already November ! Where did October go? So much to talk about..First of all, I went to nascar and wow is it noisy! My friend Nancy invited me to go with her and her boyfriend, Keith. I had double Ontario overnights and she picked me up at the airport each day. It was really alot of fun and I really did enjoy it. We were in a suite and right above Kyle Busch's pit stop. No one likes him, but I took pictures of it anyway. My favorite is Kasey Kahne and we did see him in the back lot. We had passes to go down in the winners circle and I forgot my camera. Yes, I forgot my camera!! Nancy couldn't believe it either. Oh well..what can I say...I was alittle bit overwhelmed..Had fun and that is the job I signed up for.

Nanas Day Off..

Well today is my day off. I love having days to myself. It is beginning to feel like fall and this is my favorite time of the year..We had to reschedule family pictures (mother nature didn't cooperate) so I enjoyed being home and doing odd jobs around the house. I got my fall decorations up, cleaned under beds, blogged and made zuchinni bread. What a wonderful day. Oh and I went to the gym early this morning. Now I am listening to the king of country "George Strait" and having a diet coke. My honey gave me the new cd for my birthday along with a little blue box from Tiffany's. I love my new ring. I head out on the road tomorrow , so I will let you know if anything happens exciting during my travels through Texas.. So for now that's what is happening at Nanas!

Another year older and learning new tricks...

Well here goes my second post.. Had a wonderful birthday celebrating with my family. First, Brixton called to wish Nana a happy birthday. He is such a cutie. Then he came up to Nana's to go do lunch. Of course he wanted to go to McDonalds but I said Nana wants to go to Joes Crab Shack. He said I don't like sloppy joes and I don't want to go. Oh well, off to sloppy joes as Brixton calls it. My little sister came up so we had a great lunch. Mom and Dad came up on Sunday and took Fred and I to Roadhouse. That was very enjoyable. Nicole joined us on sunday because she had school on monday. It is always fun and exciting spending time with the grandkids. Love them and treasure their memories..
